VOIP Home Phone

VOIP Home Phone
Hardware: $75
Service: $5/month
Consulting: $60-120

A VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) phone at home is a great way to save money on your monthly phone bill. The phone number itself is very inexpensive, with unlimited incoming phone calls at $5 / month (including free voicemail) and outgoing anywhere to Canada at ½¢ / minute (yes, that’s a half a cent a minute).

With the ATA hardware device, you require no rewiring of your house and you can use your existing phones. The device requires a wire to your Internet system and a wire to your phone system. You can use this for fax numbers and machines as well.

Once the hardware device is installed, you then subscribe to a VOIP phone service (at the rates mentioned above), configure the VOIP service settings on the hardware device and you’re all set!
